Alain-Marc Rieu

Professor of Contemporary Philosophy and Science Studies, University of Lyon-Jean Moulin, Senior Research Fellow, Institute of East Asian Studies (CNRS), Ecole Normale Supérieure de Lyon. He has been studying the mutation since the 1970s of the role, conception and organization of knowledge in advanced industrial societies. He now focuses on a comparative study of Science and Technology policies, including a study of present ideological constructions and debates in East-Asia and Europe. He is the author of various articles, studies and books.
