Doug Henton

Chairman and CEO of Collaborative Economics- Advisors to Civic Entrepreneurs, strategic advisor to the California Economic Strategy Panel, which develops state and regional economic development and workforce strategies, co-author of the California Green Innovation Index for Next 10, and consultant to the Green Valley Initiative.

Doug will be a lecturer in the “Silicon Valley 101” orientation course for the conference participants (July 11, 15.00-17.00). He has more than 30 years of experience in economic and community development at the national, regional, state, and local levels. He was project manager for the start-up of the Joint Venture: Silicon Valley Network and is the architect of Joint Venture’s annual Index of Silicon Valley. Doug founded Collaborative Economics in July 1993 after a decade as assistant director of SRI International Center for Economic Competitiveness.
