Judy Estrin

CEO of JLabs, LLC, advisor and speaker in the areas of entrepreneurship, leadership and innovation. She sits on the boards of directors of The Walt Disney Company as well as privately held Packet Design, Inc . She also sits on the advisory councils of Stanford’s School of Engineering and Stanford’s Bio-X initiative.

Judy will be the after-dinner speaker at the conference Gala Dinner (July 13, 19.30-22.00), and will talk about ‘Sustainable Innovation’ and her recent book titled Closing the Innovation Gap: Reigniting the Spark of Creativity in a Global Economy (McGraw-Hill; September 2008). The book explores key concepts of innovation and challenges business, education and national leaders to work together to reignite the sustainable innovation essential for future growth. Judy is a networking technology pioneer and Silicon Valley leader. Since 1981, she has co-founded seven technology companies and served as the CTO of Cisco Systems. She also served as member of the board of FedEx Corporation from 1989 until 2010, Sun Microsystems from 1995 through 2003 and Rockwell Corporation from 1994 through 1998.
