Tan Yinglan
Head of the Singapore’s National Research Foundation Projects Division, under the Prime Minister’s Office. He oversees Singapore’s National Framework for Innovation and Enterprise and is responsible for the investments of high-tech growth ventures and venture capital funds in Asia.. He has been named as one of ‘100 Leaders Of Tomorrow’ by the St. Gallen Symposium in 2010 and is one of the first international Kauffman Fellows from Singapore.
Tan will be a speaker in the thematic workshop “From “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” to “Government as an Entrepreneur”: The Role of Public Venture Capital. He has extensive experience in the management of venture capital funds”, as a Certified Risk Analyst, Adjunct Assistant Professor at Nanyang Technological University and a guest lecturer at Fudan University, Shanghai. He is the author of “The Way Of the VC: Having Top Venture Capitalists On Your Board” (Wiley, 2009) and “Chinnovation – How Chinese Innovation is going to Change the World” (Wiley 2010).
